    Notes: Between 1842 and 1867 his name is replaced on the printed lists of the NSW Medical Board by 'Henry Charles Scott'
  • From 1868 he is listed with no address until the list of 1885 when he suddenly acquires the address 'Cobar' and in 1886 'Victoria', in 1888 'Penrith', having been confused with another Charles Henry Scott who graduated Melbourne 1877
  • Leaving aside the mysterious entry in the NSW Medical Directory of 1860, it is difficult to find any convincing evidence that he was in Australia after 1839
