Found guilty in India of murder after killing a man in a duel 1813

There are references to him in numerous files in the old MSV archives (see refs)
There was a William Bland serving as a surgeon on each of two convict transports: Mary Anne to NSW (1839) and Garland Grove to VDL (1843). It is uncertain whether this William Bland or another one was on these ships - Ed. |
